On the eve of National Day, the first localized PT30-D power turbine with independent intellectual property rights was successfully put into production, which was jointly developed by No.703 Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, CSIC Longjiang GH Gas Turbine Co., Ltd. and West-East Gas Pipeline Branch of PipeChina. Up to now, it has been running continuously and stably for over 400 hours, and delivered over 500 million cubic meters of natural gas.

At 23:00 on September 21st, PT30-D power turbine successfully completed the 72-hour delivery test at the West-East Gas Transmission Station of the National Pipeline Network, and then started the 4000-hour industrial application assessment.

Entrusted by the State Pipeline Network Group, No.703 Research Institute, GH Turbine and West-East Gas Pipeline Branch formed a joint research team to carry out the localization research and development of the power turbine of imported gas-driven compressor units. During the four years, the research team has overcome many technical problems and broken through many core production processes, realizing 100% localization of independent production of power turbines.

Since September 17th, PT30-D power turbine has successively completed 24-hour mechanical operation test and 72-hour performance test, and started 4000-hour industrial application assessment. The unit runs stably and is in good condition. According to the actual demand of the site, the daily gas transmission capacity is 35 million – 40 million cubic meters, and its performance reaches the same level as that of imported power turbines.

With the popularization and application of a series of domestic industrial products, such as 30 MW gas turbine driven compressor unit, 25 MW dual-fuel gas turbine generator unit for offshore platform and 25 MW industrial low-emission gas turbine generator unit, we will continue to serve the national strategy and lead the development of the industry as our mission, and independently develop more reliable cutting-edge energy equipment following the national high-quality development strategy, making new and greater contributions in effectively maintaining and ensuring the national energy strategic security.
