The CNOOC Dongfang 13-2 production platform is equipped with three sets of SGT-600 gas turbine generator units, supplied by GH Turbine and put into operation in 2019. This platform is the largest offshore high-temperature and high-pressure gas field in China and one of the three major offshore high-temperature and high-pressure regions in the world, and it is extremely difficult to explore and develop oil and gas. The three gas turbine generator units supplied were required to ensure stable power supply to the main drilling platform, while providing power to multiple auxiliary drilling platforms nearby, which required very high requirements for the stability of platform operation, reliability of gas turbines, and response speed to emergency conditions.

In September 2021, our company signed the “Dongfang 13-2 Platform SGT-600 Gas Turbine Maintenance Long Term Service Contract” with CNOOC (China) Zhanjiang Branch, in which it was agreed to provide customers with long-term maintenance services for 12 years or 60000 EOH per unit. The service includes all scheduled maintenance services for three SGT-600 gas turbines during one overhaul period, and provides users with value-added services such as spare parts storage, training, on-site maintenance, and technical services.

The signing of this long-term service agreement marks the opening of a new service model for domestic oil and gas users by our company. While reducing maintenance costs for users, we are committed to ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the units and improving customer satisfaction on our products and services.
