From July 11th to July 12th, 2024, Harbin Marine Boiler & Turbine Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as “HMBTRI”) and CSIC Longjiang GH Gas Turbine Co. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “GH Turbine”) were invited to attend the 11th Gas Turbine Focus Conference and Exhibition 2024.

In the forum of Gas Turbine Academic Cooperation, Industrial Development and Talent Cultivation, Mr. Li Mingjia, Deputy Director of HMBTRI Gas Turbine Division and Deputy General Manager of GH Turbine, participated in the Seminar on Talent Demand of China’s Gas Turbine Industry. Focusing on the talent demand of gas turbine industry, Mr. Li Mingjia discussed the current situation of domestic gas turbine technology development and the trend of talent demand with the managers of domestic famous colleges & universities and leaders of gas turbine manufacturing enterprises, and put forward suggestions on the mismatch between supply and demand of talents of gas turbine enterprises and colleges & universities as well as the pain points and challenges of enterprise talent cultivation, to provide suggestions and advice for the development of China’s gas turbine industry and the cultivation of professional and technical talents.

In the forum of innovative technologies and applications of medium, small and micro gas turbines, Mr. Wang Haikun, Director of Information & Network Technology Division of HMBTRI ,gave a speech on the exploration and practice of GH Turbine’s digitalized factory. After nearly a decade of digital factory construction practice, HMBTRI and GH Turbine solved a series of problems in the process of digital transformation, created a data-driven & man-machine synergism, materials exchange & virtual-real interconnection of the digital factory, building an integrated platform for research & development, manufacturing, testing, service, which helps product development cycle shortened by more than 30%, production efficiency increased by 33.5%, the quality of the traceability rate of 100%, and has been awarded the “Best Product of the Year” in the industry. It has been selected as excellent solution and pilot demonstration project by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Energy Bureau etc. for many times, forming a good demonstration effect.

Meanwhile, during the conference, Mr. Li Mingjia led the related personnel of Marketing Department to communicate and negotiate with several customers, and conducted in-depth discussions on the application needs in different scenarios, so as to provide clients with high-quality and specialized gas turbine products and service solutions.

As the deep cultivator in the field of domestic small and medium-sized gas turbine, HMBTRI and GH Turbine will uphold the spirit of “deep cultivation”, continue to integrate resources, deepen technological innovation, and make greater contributions to the high-quality development of China’s small and medium-sized gas turbine industry.
