Successful Ignition of H-25 Gas Turbine Units in China Resources Zhuhai Project

On July 31st and August 2nd , two sets of ultra-low emission H-25 gas turbine generators provided by our company were successfully ignited at the site of China Resources Power (Zhuhai) Smart Energy Co., Ltd. (referred to as “China Resources Zhuhai Project”), and the parameters of no-load operation were normal and stable after the success of 7280 rpm at a fixed speed, which means that the world’s first H-25 gas turbine project equipped with ultra-low emission multi-cluster burners has gained milestone achievement and laid a good foundation for the follow-up commissioning work.

China Resources Zhuhai Project is located in Fushan Industrial Park, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. On June 28th, 2020, the project officially commenced. Based on our own technical characteristics and product advantages, we select H-25 gas turbine equipped with multi-cluster burners as the core engine, and carry out complete sets of research and development work in China. It is the world’s first commercial application project of this type of gas turbine and burner.

As the first gas turbine project of China Resources Power in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, it is equipped with H-25 gas turbine multi-cluster burner, and the emission of NOx does not exceed 30 mg/m3. After the project is put into operation, it is estimated that the annual power generation will be 670 million kWh, the annual heat supply will be 1.31 million GJ, the annual standard coal will be saved by 117,000 tons, along with a reduction in the annual smoke and dust by 708.9 tons, the annual sulfur dioxide emission by 475 tons, and the annual nitrogen oxide emission by 47 tons respectively. It is of great significance to further improve the infrastructure, break the bottleneck restricting the development of Fushan Industrial Park, and lay a solid foundation for expanding the production scale and attracting investment. At the same time, the ultra-low emission of this project also provides new opportunity for Guangdong Province to achieve the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutralization as scheduled.
